Window frame (window sill) with a thickness of only 4 mm
The window frame (sill) is used to protect the area around the window and enhance ease of construction.
Although necessary, when aiming for a clean window appearance and a beautiful view, it stood out too prominently.
However, they are too conspicuous when you consider that you want to keep the window clean and the view beautiful.
While maintaining the performance that the window frame should have, we achieved a thickness of 4mm for the window frame
by pushing it to its limit.

To enhance the beauty of the black sashes
window frames (sills) were created specifically for black sashes. This creates a sense of unity between the sashes and the window frames, accentuating the black frame aesthetic. Furthermore, with a thickness of 4mm, it seamlessly integrates with the form of the sashes without any sense of incongruity."
What The Window Frame (Sill) Is
The terminology for window frames varies depending on the installation method. When only the lower part of the sash is framed, as shown in the left image, and the other three sides are cross-installed, it is called a 'sill' (tray, single-side frame).
On the other hand, when surrounding all four sides (the entire perimeter) of the sash, it is referred to as a window frame. While framing tends to make it look cumbersome, with fitframe, it appears remarkably sleek, whether it's a frame on all four sides or three sides.
